ABOUT US

The Mauritian Singers Gospel Ministry is a self-supporting ministry consisting of a group of singers and musicians who have dedicated their lives to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people of all ages far and near through their music ministry.
The group based in Sydney, Australia, was formed in 1975 and consisted of some youth whose parents had migrated to Sydney from the island of Mauritius. The majority of the members of the group at the time were part of the Stanmore Seventh-Day Adventist Church congregation.
Now in its 49th year, the Mauritian Singers continue to take the everlasting Gospel to wherever God calls them to.
Since 2004, the Mauritian Singers have worked in partnership with many SDA churches in Vanuatu and have taken the Gospel Commission to the grown-ups as well as to the children of many communities through their Evangelistic Meetings, Youth Revivals, Vacation Bible Schools, and Healthy Cooking Demonstrations.
When COVID-19 landed in Sydney in 2020 causing lockdowns and border closures, preventing local and overseas travels, “Jesus for Eternity”, an online ministry for children, with its co-hosts, Uncle Solomon based in Zambia, and Aunty Dany based in Sydney, was born.  Zoom became the tool to keep children’s programs alive every week for children in Australia, Vanuatu, Samoa, and even India.  Now in its fourth year, the “Jesus for Eternity” team continues to work in partnership with churches in Vanuatu, namely Etas and Topua Churches as well as Samoa. More equipment has been purchased for churches in two other islands in Vanuatu, Lavalsale SDA Church in Malekula and Parker SDA Church in Atchin Island.

In July 2022, the North East Nigerian Conference Children’s Ministry partnered with the Mauritian Singers Gospel Ministry, and a new program, “Jesus for Eternity – Africa” started and is now being presented every Saturday evening from 8:00 to 9:00 pm (Sydney time) and 11:00 am to 12 o’clock (Nigerian time) to nine churches in Jos and Jengre – Nigeria, with an average of 1600 children.  More churches are on the waiting list waiting patiently for equipment to be purchased so that they may join.

Our goal is to bring all those children that join us, closer to Jesus. And as we do so by God’s grace, we pray that many lives will not only change but that they will have a relationship with Jesus before His Second Coming.  May God continue to use us as His instruments. We give all Praise and Glory to our God Almighty!
